  • What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are individual strands of faux lashes expertly attached to each natural eyelash with a special medical grade adhesive. We specialize in “Natural,” and “Glamour” looks with various lash extension set application options available — Classic, Hybrid, & Volume. Everything from a natural glow to extreme glamour is possible. It’s all up to you.
  • What’s the difference between ‘lash extensions’ and ‘cluster lashes?'
Lash extensions are individual synthetic strands, curled like natural lashes – but better! Cluster lashes are made up of 3-4 strands fanning out from a “bulb” glued on to your natural lashes. So, cluster lashes are more difficult to blend in with your natural lash line… and they’re usually lower quality, too. You’ll likely find cheaper rates for cluster lashes – and if you see them applied, you’ll know why!
  • How long do lash extensions last?
The lash extensions will stay on anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks. The bond life depends on many things such as: proper after care, preparation, and application method. The growth cycle of your natural lashes can also affect the life of your lash extensions. Fill in appointements should be booked every two weeks so new lashes can be applied to maintain fullness.
  • What is a “fill in?""
A "fill in" or "refil"l consists of the lash artist going through the lashes to remove grown out lash extensions and add new extensions. A fill in is recommended every 2-3 weeks to maintain your lashes.
  • Will lash extensions damage my natural lash?
No. With skilled application, normal maintenance and care, the lash extensions will not damage your natural lash. They will grow out with your natural lash growth cycle.
  • Do you fill in other lash artist's work?
Yes. We require you to request a foreign fill in appointment and it’s not guaranteed we can fill the lashes. Depending on application, isolation and products used, we will be able to decide if we can work with them
  • Can my lashes be customized to a look of my choosing?
Your lash artist will hold a consultation at the beginning of your full set appointment and discuss with you what look you are trying to achieve with getting eyelash extensions. Whether it be a more natural look, dramatic look, or something more believable our lash artist are able to tailor to your desired looked.
  • I have read that my natural lashes can be ruined by extensions. Can this really happen?
There have been reports online and in the press about damage caused by lash extensions. These reports are mainly due to services performed by inexperienced technicians. Ideally, the best way to find a reputable technician is through recommendation, either from friends or checking out online reviews; it’s also worth checking out their qualifications and asking to see their portfolio of lash extensions they have actually completed and not just images stock photos. Any good technician will take time to complete a consultation with you beforehand and be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
  • I’m a mascara junkie. Can I still use it over my extensions?
We know you love it, but we recommend you break up with your mascara. However, if you must wear mascara, we advise using a water-based formula. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATERPROOF MASCARA!! (Oil-based makeup remover should also be avoided.) Oil based products can dissolve the bonding agent used on your extensions, causing the lashes fall out sooner.
  • What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds. If you are unhappy with our services, please contact Brigs, owner of Electric Lash Lounge, within three days of your appointment. We will do our best to make sure you are satisfied with your lashes and our services.
  • What is a 'Lash Lift?'
A Lash Lift is a semi-permanent treatment that lifts your natural lashes to create beautifully curled lashes without having to use an eyelash curler before mascara. t is a great alternative to eyelash extensions, as it requires very little maintenance.
  • How long does this service take?
A lash lift can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, including prep. If you choose to enhance the effect of your lash lift with a tint, it may take an extra 10 minutes
  • How long will the results last?
A Lash Lift typically lasts 6-8 weeks, but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 2 months to lift the new hair growth.
  • Will it damage my natural lashes?
Not at all. Proper training is required to perform the procedure, ensuring the Lash Lift only benefits clients.
  • What do I need to do prior to my service?
Please cleanse lashes and lids to ensure they are thoroughly clean and dry, remove contacts prior to the appointment or bring a contact case to remove at the appointment and do not wear waterproof mascara up to 48 hours prior to the appointment.
  • Can I swim/shower/exercise/visit a spa with a lash lift?
Yes! Please wait 24 hours after lash lift application before taking part in those activities.
  • Can I wear makeup after getting a Lash Liift?
Yes, but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your lift. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is recommended; so as to avoid using makeup removers that may weaken the lift.
  • What is 'Brow Lamination?'
It is the process of “laminating” (also known as perming) the brows to grow in an upward, feather-like direction. This is a great option for those who struggle with brows that grow in a downward direction or have thin brows that won’t fill in. Basically, we are taking the bond of the hairs and reconstructing them with this treatment. So, ditch the brow gel and get fuller, fluffier brows that last 6-8 weeks! Option to add on a brow stain for a bolder look.
  • Who is a good candidate for Brow Lamination?
Anyone looking to improve the overall look of their brow; with sparse brows; who are growing out their brows; not ready to commit to cosmetic tattoo; with unruly, coarse brows; with stubborn, natural hair growth patterns.
  • How long will my brow lamination appointment take?
    45 minutes to 1 hour
  • How long will the results of my brow lamination last?
Brow lamination lasts up to 8 weeks if proper care is taken during the 24 hours post procedure. Premature exposure to water, sweat, and/or steam can prevent the hairs from processing correctly. The growth cycle of eyebrow hair is typically 3 months. Once the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle, to ensure the integrity of the hair is well kept, receiving the treatment every 2-3 months is recommended.
  • Will this treatment damage my brow hairs?
Brow lamination does not cause any long term damage to the brow hair. High quality products that I use have been custom formulated to be gentle on the hair and skin
  • Can I get Brow Lamination if my brows are Microbladed?
As long as you wait 6-8 weeks post microblading service, you can absolutely have your brows laminated. Many of our clients have microbladed brows and still get laminations regularly.
  • What aftercare is required for my newly laminated brows?
For 24 hours after the service: keep your brows dry and makeup free (avoid heavy sweating, direct contact with water and steam)
  • Can I still wear brow make up?
You most likely won't need to use them, but yes, after the initial 24 hours post Brow Lamination you are free to wear brow makeup.
